Obituary for Reba Wilson

Reba Wilson passed away peacefully on November 23, 2015 in Craig, Colorado. She was 86.
Reba Eileen Wilson was born on a small ranch west of Yampa, Colorado on June 29, 1929 to Wiley and Olive Tomlinson. She was the fourth of five girls. She grew up in Yampa and attended school in Yampa, graduating from Yampa Union High School in 1947. After high school she worked in Denver for a short time.
She met Luther Wilson while she was working in the lettuce fields in Toponas. They were married on October 19, 1948. They had three children. Reba was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Yampa until poor health forced a move to Craig.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Luther, and her son, Gary and his wife, Molly, & mother in law, Edith Wilson. Also, preceding her in death were her sisters: Regina Kelsay, Loyce Huffstetler and husband, Harold; Barbara Eicher and husband, Darol; Norene Walker and husband, Jim; as well as Earl Shoup, Delmar Wilson, Charles and Mary Wilson, Chester and Thelma Jo Pyland, Pete and Lorene Mask, Venita and Anthony Treat, and Blanche Treat.
Reba is survived by her daughters, Colleen Burin (Bill) of Phippsburg and Teresa Rhodes (Mike) of Craig. Granddaughters, Elizabeth Elliott (James), Lori Terpstra (Mike), Michelle Rhodes, Mandi Rhodes and grandson, Bryan Rhodes (Ellen), and “adopted” granddaughter, Daina Wagner (Wayne) and their 4 children, 6 great grandchildren, sister and brother in laws, Mattie Jo and Estes Wilson, Melba and Orgel Shannon, Patricia Wilson, Donald Kelsay and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be in Yampa, CO, December 5, 2015 at 11:00AM at the First Baptist Church of Yampa. Interment will be in the Yampa cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Yampa in care of Grant Mortuary of Craig.
