Ted passed away Friday, August 15, at his home in Hamilton. He was 62 years old.
Ted was born March 11, 1953 in Pineville, West Virginia to Teddy and Kathryn (Spicer) Kelly. In 1961 the family moved to Broomfield, Colorado. Ted was a very well known gymnast for the Broomfield Eagles. Every time you found Ted at the house he was walking on his hands. His best event was the rings. He really loved it!
Ted was blessed with a son, Conan Lee Kelly, by his prior marriage to Nancy (Retallack).
Ted married Kerry (Dunlap) on October 24, 1992. They shared a beautiful house by the river in Hamilton, Colorado.
Ted was a wild man, never afraid to do anything. He loved hunting, fishing, water skiing, cruising in his vehicles, riding his Harley and the love of reading.
Ted was a dedicated employee; he loved his job and never stopped talking about it, even after his retirement.
Ted is survived by his wife Kerry of Hamilton, his son Conan Kelly of Elko, Nevada, a sister Kathy Burton (Tom) of Greystone, Colorado, a sister Connie Morgan (Buddy) of Pineville, West Virginia and a brother John Kelly of Denver, Colorado, along with many nieces and nephews.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents Teddy Kelly, Sr. and Kathryn (Spicer) Kelly.
A service will be held on Thursday August 21st at 11am at Grant Mortuary. Memorial donations may be made in his honor to the NWCO VNA & Hospice Center of Craig.
