Louise Lockhart was born January 10, 1920 in Steamboat Springs to John and Vada Summer. Her Mother died at birth and she was adopted by John and Jenny See at the age of four months. She grew up in Steamboat and graduated from high school in 1937. She married her high school sweetheart, Clyde Lockhart, on May 25, 1938. In 1942 they moved to Cheyenne Wyo. Where Clyde was employed by the U S Postal Service. They remained in Cheyenne and raised their three children. Her husband of 72 years, Clyde Lockhart, preceded her in death in 2010.
She is survived by her three children: Marlene Whited of Grand junction Co., Kathleen Wright of Kansas city Kansas and Douglas Lockhart of Pueblo Co. She had six Grand children and 9 great Grandchildren. A celebration of Life Service will be held at The Chapel of the Chimes in Cheyenne Wyo. on September 19th at 2:00.
